	video images   Waveform is a solo performance for a dancer's body controlled by himself and a set of wireless electrodes. The movement is being created in the collaboration of those two neuronal entities and co-dependant on the dancer's actions as he allows his body to controlled through the device. The body becomes electric, it becomes the wave, the idea of a wave, while the muscles undergo oscillating convulsions as electricity is injected in an already oscillating system. The signal also becomes sound, feedbacking and interferring with the moving body and mind. These collisions of systems, motorical systems and nervous systems, receptors tapping into each other, lead towards a hybrid construct, all driven by the same source. Waveform was created with the help of the city of Salzburg(AT), La Casa Encendida (E), Aula de Danza "Estrella Casero"(E), Arge Kultur (AT) and Gold Extra (AT). The dynamo replaces the virgin, electricity replaces the sun, schizophonica replaces schizophrenia, and potentially paranoid machines are directed outward to shock others, the listeners. Telephone, cinema, radio, television: parallel communication and representational systems exist as alternative prosthetic devices, lures and prisons for our fears and passions. Antonin Artaud
